Shawn joined IG Private Wealth Management in 2005 and has been an integral part of the Garofalo Donato & Associates Private Wealth Management team since 2011. He works very closely with Chris in the creation of financial strategies, taking the unique needs of each client into consideration when building out their comprehensive plan. Education and knowledge development has always been very important to Shawn. He received a BComm. Hons. from McMaster University, and holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® designations.

He and his wife Melodie are adventure-seekers and enjoy spending time traveling.
